Sessions

How often?

Following a free introductory meeting, sessions take place on a weekly basis, usually at the same time each week, and last for one hour.

This first appointment is an introduction to the work we could do together and an exploration of your particular needs.

The meeting lasts approximately 45 minutes and gives the opportunity to talk a little about yourself and what brings you to therapy. At the end of the session, the suggestion is that both individuals take time to reflect on how they feel about working together and then decide on a way forward.

When both feel it is right, then a mutually suitable time to meet on a weekly basis will be arranged. Usually, the agreement is for six initial weekly sessions, followed by an opportunity to review progress.

How much does it cost?

Each therapist charges on an individual basis but typically sessions range upward from £45.

Some therapists may offer concessionary rates.
